The World Peace Partners project promotes International understanding by bringing together people from different countries and cultures.
Winnipeg is an international centre for peace building and human rights. Partnering with Rotary District 5550 in this vision are:

Adventures in Peace Building:
Rotary Clubs from around the world will sponsor students to come to Winnipeg to:
- Participate in intensive teaching opportunities about human rights, conflict resolution and peace initiatives at Universities and Peace Centres.
- Engage in a transformational awareness tour of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
- Make a commitment to support human rights and influence others to treat everyone with respect and understanding.
Programs being developed include:
- A joint master's program in peace and conflict studies offered by the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.
- A summer institute offered by the University of Winnipeg that teaches the importance of Global Citizenship.
