Dave Morris

Dave was raised in Winnipeg and began his career working as an underwriter and manager for an insurance company. In 1977 he and Nancy purchased a local insurance agency.

He is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Winnipeg Charleswood, has served as president, treasurer, and is active in all club events. His particular interest for the past 5 years has been raising funds for Polio Plus by coordinating the return of empty beer bottles and cans. So far, the total raised has been $8,000.00.

Dave has been active in church and community activities. For many years he ran youth clubs and drop in centres in an inner city church and was involved in the sports activities of all three of his children.

He was school trustee in the Assiniboine South School Division and served as Finance Chairman as well as Board Chairman during his twelve years on the board.
