Eva Vida

Eva was born in Nagy Kanizsa, Hungary and immigrated to Canada as a young teen.  She has been a resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba since her arrival in Canada.

Eva has been active in the Financial Industry since 1975 and self employed in the same field for the last eight years.  During this time, she has chaired volunteer boards such as The Institute of Canadian Bankers and has spent more than ten years as Fundraising coordinator for the United Way of Canada, in Winnipeg.  Her other interests include gardening, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren.

A Rotarian since 1992, Eva has served in all 4 avenues of  service and she is the past president of the Rotary Club of Transcona.  She has also served at the District level as Rotoract/Interact Chair, District Trainer and Assistant District Governor.

Eva and her husband Charles are proud of their daughter and son who both live in Winnipeg, and blessed to have 3 beautiful grandchildren close by to spend time with.
